A quick look around any high-end electronics store makes it clear that metal finishes
on consumer electronic devices is a significant trend. This is especially true in
smart phones. Another trend in smart phones is the elimination of an external antenna.
The antenna is now built in. And herein lies the problem. An antenna doesn't work
if it is surrounded by a metal conductive material.
