In 1981, Nypro became the first plastics company to robotize its factories.
Nypro operates an independent Automation Group within our Global Engineering and
Technology unit, which designs custom automation for molding and assembly in
the healthcare, consumer & electronics, automotive, and packaging markets.
This group works closely with Nypro's Methods Development Center at Corporate
Headquarters, and with outside vendors, to develop state-of-the-art automation
that maximizes output and minimizes costs.
