The Nypro Foundation is a registered charitable foundation with over $4 million in assets. Its mission is to support eligible charitable organizations with links to Nypro and Nypro people. It is operated by the Nypro Donations Committee, comprised of seven Nypro employees. Most of the Foundation's funding historically has gone to education, health and human services, arts and culture, and organizations that serve the local community. However, the Foundation also has spearheaded major gift campaigns during several national and international disasters, including the China Earthquake of 2007 which affected the homes and families of several dozen Nypro employees, a major gift to Clinton Hospital to help fund the purchase of digital mammography equipment, plus substantial independent and employee-matching gifts to aid the victims of the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. During its tenure, the Nypro Foundation has contributed more than $1,250,000 to upwards of 100 organizations, including groups such as private relief agencies and soup kitchens, libraries, high schools and junior colleges, the American Cancer Society, the American Red Cross, AIDS organizations, senior centers, Boys & Girls Clubs, historical societies, lassie leagues, museums, PTAs, Muscular Dystrophy, Rotary Club, symphony orchestras and hospices.
